Tracing debates on gender within the home-migration nexus this chapter explores how understandings of the gendered dynamics of home and (im)mobility can be applied in the context of multiple crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic, hostile immigration policies and situations of violent conflict. Drawing upon interdisciplinary perspectives and engaging with empirical research in the Global South and North, Annabelle demonstrate how intersectional approaches to home, migration and displacement can expand our understandings of the relationships between gender, home and migration in the context of overlapping crises.
