Marta Padovan-Özdemir gave an invited presentation on the MaHoMe collective aesthetic auto-ethnography at a seminar organised by the InterKult research group at the Department of Communication and Arts, Roskilde University. The collective aesthetic auto-ethnography has been developed in collaboration with Philip Dodds (LU) and Fran Lloyd (KU) and was conducted during Spring 2022 in Denmark, Sweden, and later in the UK. The research team is now in the process of curating a montage of migrant homemaking amidst divergent politics of migration and integration.
The aim of this research experiment was to tease out what kind of epistemology of migrant homemaking emerges from a collective auto-ethnography understood as an engaged form of research practice.
